In order to change habits we have to understand why we created them in the first place and what benefit they give us. The way we act (or don’t act) isn’t random, not seldom however our behavior does not help us achieve happiness or success. Most of our decisions are made by our subconscious mind. This part of our mind reacts to memories, thoughts and emotions. So, in order to make changes in our exterior life (behavior, environment, relationships), we have to make changes on our interior, the way we think and feel.
